Traditional analogue CCTV systems are the most cost-effective means of viewing and recording what is happening in your property.
A CCTV installation in your home or business will give you a unique sense of security that cannot be matched by any other; akin to having your very own security guard working 24 hours a day to keep your family, possessions and business safe. All the latest systems we design and install include the capability to view the live (or even pre-recorded) feed on your mobile phone, tablet or computer if connected to your internet. No matter where you are in the world you'll know exactly what is going on in your premises.
The biggest difference between analogue and megapixel IP CCTV surveillance systems is the resolution (quality and size) of the footage and images being produced at the camera and recorded at the DVR/NVR.
The maximum resolution available on an analogue surveillance system is limited to D1 resolution which is 720 x 576 pixels (PAL) or equivalent to 0.4 megapixel. Even if a higher resolution camera (such as a 700 TVL camera with a resolution of 1020 x 596 pixels) is used, after the video signal has been digitized in a digital video recorder it will still only display and record at D1 resolution. The image below shows the range of available resolutions, the maximum of which is D1 (720 x 576).
